What is Involved in a Sprinkler Service
Alarm Isolation
If applicable, call Centre's and/or the fire brigade will be notified of the work being carried out prevent false alarms during testing.
Flow & Pressure Test
Verifying water flow and pressure levels meet required standards to ensure proper functionality by taking water from the test valve/s.
Visual Inspection
Checking for any visible wear, damage or obstructions in the sprinkler system, including a thorough inspection of the sprinkler heads to ensure they are clean and unobstructed.
Alarm & Flow Switch Testing
Ensuring that both the system’s alarms and flow switches are functioning correctly, so the system triggers appropriate alerts if activated.
Water Tank & Pump Inspection
For systems that use a dedicated water tank and pump, these components are thoroughly inspected to ensure they are operating efficiently and can supply the necessary water in the event of a fire.
Detailed Job Report
A detailed job report is created on-site, highlighting any faults found during the service, along with recommendations for repairs or improvements to maintain system reliability and compliance.
