Chertsey Residential Block
Sprinkler Annual Service for A Residential Block, in Chertsey.
We recently carried out a fire sprinkler service at a residential block in Chertsey. The system consisted of a valve set on each of the building’s three floors, and our team conducted a range of tests and inspections to ensure everything was in proper working order.

What We did
As part of the service, we conducted flow tests on each floor, with flow rates ranging between 110 and 120 LPM litres per minute. The alarm system triggered successfully on all tests, confirming it would activate should a sprinkler head activate.
We also performed visual checks in all 12 apartments, ensuring all sprinkler heads were unobstructed and in good condition. No issues were identified during these inspections.
Challenges & Next Steps
During the service, we found the pressure gauges on all three floors to be frozen. We’ve already quoted for their replacement and will be returning to install new gauges. These gauges are essential to monitor system pressure accurately and support safe, reliable operation during future tests.
The Results
Our service ensured the fire sprinkler system at this property remains operational, providing peace of mind for the residents and property managers. The replacement of the pressure gauges will further enhance the system’s safety by ensuring accurate pressure readings for future maintenance and testing.
